Blink-182 Back Out Of Coachella Performance?

Will Blink-182 be back at Coachella yet again? They are ready and primed up after a very successful first time back together in years. The set went flawlessly and fans loved every second of it. The rumor is that Blink may take a spot that seemed to be for Frank Ocean, but Frank did not quite pan out how all would have hoped for. However, Mark Hoppus said that this is yet to be confirmed.

As reported by The Daily Beast: After a rough set during last week’s Coachella, headliner Frank Ocean will not be performing at Weekend 2 of the festival, according to Variety. Which, then it was reported that Blink-182 would be the replacement.

A rep for Ocean told the publication that he’s unable to perform “due to an injury on his leg.” On Monday, TMZ reported that the Grammy winner suffered an ankle injury, forcing him to make drastic changes to production.

So, this left Tom DeLonge to scroll on social media only to see a rumor that Blink would be headlining week two. Tom would then take to Instagram and post that the band would be headlining week two. Mark would contact Tom to let him know that, no, there is yet to be a successful negotiation on week two if it is even happening.

This left a lot of fans sad, but there still may be a chance that the band does pull through. On the side of Tom DeLonge, it’s very apparent that he’s excited to do it again.

We will continue to keep up with this, and check out the Desperate. Times to keep up with the updates as well as fans are giving insight on the ongoing situation. As of now, it seems that the band are in a negotiation to head back for weekend two.
