Travis Barker has made a return to social media shortly after departing from the Blink-182 tour due to a pressing family matter. The renowned drummer, who is anticipating the arrival of a baby boy with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, made a brief appearance in his son Landon Barker’s TikTok Live on September 4. During his appearance, he didn’t divulge any personal details but kindly gifted the 17-year-old a hoodie.
As reported by E – On September 1, Blink-182 shared the news of Travis’ temporary departure from the tour, explaining that he was headed back to California due to a family emergency. Consequently, they had to postpone several of their U.K. tour dates. The band released a statement on social media, stating, “Travis has had to return home to the States due to an urgent family matter. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. We will provide further information regarding his return to Europe and rescheduled dates as soon as possible.”
While Travis has not addressed the family situation publicly, he did share photos on September 1 from what seemed to be a prayer room.
In addition to being a father to Landon, Travis is also the father of a 17-year-old daughter named Alabama Barker and a stepfather to 24-year-old stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, all of whom he shares with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Furthermore, he plays a significant role as a stepfather to Kourtney Kardashian’s three children—Mason Disick (13), Penelope Disick (11), and Reign Disick (8)—whom she shares with her ex, Scott Disick.
Earlier this summer, Kourtney and Travis joyfully announced their expanding family. Throughout the past few months, the couple, who have been open about their fertility journey, have shared glimpses of Kourtney’s pregnancy, including bump photos and cravings. As Kourtney expressed in an Instagram post on August 8, “Growing you inside of me, my son, is the greatest blessing, honor, and joy.”
