Tool Announce U.S. Tour With Talented Band

Tool recently announced that they will embark on their long-awaited first tour of 2023.

The fall North American trek includes the band’s first shows in Canada since 2019, and as usual, the alt-metal band announced all of the dates long before naming the opening band(s).

On September 12, Tool revealed that Steel Beans will be the one support act joining them on their non-festival tour dates throughout October and November.

The one-man garage-rock act helmed by Jeremy DeBardi was practically unheard-of until he experienced a sudden explosion in viral popularity last year, when one of his songs picked up steam on Instagram. Steel Beans is practically unknown in the metal world that TOOL generally occupy, so it’s very on-the-nose for them — ever the eclectic bunch — to invite the quirky rocker to open their massive arena tour.

See the full tour routing below and then check out a Steel Beans song after the jump.
