Queens of the Stone Age Pull Out Of Tool Concert

We have bad news for Queen of The Stone Age fans. The band was set to perform at this year’s Welcome to Rockville in May with Tool, Slipknot, and Pantera. However, they are unable to perform at the music fest.

Official statement released

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Queen of The Stone Age are unable to perform at this year’s fest. The official statement read:

“Rockvillians, we have an unfortunate update to share.. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, QOTSA are no longer able to perform at this year’s Welcome to Rockville. We are disappointed to miss playing for you at such a great festival & apologize for any inconvenience caused.” – Queens of the Stone Age While we and QOTSA are disappointed we won’t see them at Rockville this May, we are absolutely stoked to welcome The Cult, Attila, Bones UK, Holy Wars and Silly Goose to our 2023 lineup. Just ONE MORE MONTH until we’re reunited with our favorite #rockvillians Psst.. an extremely limited amount of passes are still available, grab yours NOW!”

The Cult will take Queens’ place on the bill, while bands including Bones UK have also joined the lineup.

Welcome to Rockville takes place May 18-21 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Headliners include Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, and the reformed Pantera.

While they won’t be at Welcome to Rockville, you can catch Queens of the Stone Age at a number of other festivals this year, including Boston Calling, Sonic Temple, Louder than Life and Aftershock. The group is also playing a headlining show at New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium in August.

A fan said on Reddit, “Oh god please no. I bought tickets for pinkpop to see them and this is not a good sign.”

Another fan responded, “The festival replied to a comment asking if their other dates would be cancelled and they said they were told the other dates were not in jeopardy.”
